Duluth Superior Area ![]() Grants & ScholarshipsFriday, September 18, 2009 One of the biggest things to come out of the Twin Ports starts today. Tonight is the launch party for theDuSu.com, the community portal for young adults in the area. For the past year or more, the Community Foundation has been working on the creation of this site. Even before that, we were doing research and conducting focus groups to discover that this type of site was needed in our area. It was one of the main recommendations of the Attracting and Retaining Young People Task Force that we organized a few years back. The result is a great new resource for the 18-35 year old demographic in the Twin Ports. Divided up into Work, Live, Play and Connect sections, the DuSu.com provides a wide variety of information about these two great cities at the head of Lake Superior. Created by and for young people, it gives people the means and the will to survive and thrive here. But the site really depends on you. There is a calendar which needs you and everyone to populate it with your favorite events. Likewise the Clubs & Orgs section has a few clubs listed, but certainly not every club in the area. Luckily though, our partners at 3Five Design have created a website that is well set up to accommodate submissions. So enough writing about theDuSu. Go check it out yourself. It's a great thing!!
